NOVA’s Letdown Health Monitoring Spool provides an all-in-one process data collection solution for tracking slurry temperature, flowrate, pressure, and scaling. The letdown angle control valve is a critical component in a letdown system and tracking data will help extend its life. NOVA will help leverage this data either via a monitoring service – with data accessible to NOVA via cloud transmitter – or via integrated DCS virtual sensors for valve plugging, valve trim failure, final AC compartment level too low, hot/cold shock, and overscaling.
NOVA licenses its letdown DCS algorithms package, which is compatible with most major DCS systems.
